Ready for the 2013 One Lap of America

The OneLapCamaro is in South Bend, Indiana - primed and ready for the 2013 Tire Rack One Lap of America!  After meeting up with fellow competitors Jimi Day (1969 AMX) and Carl Casanova (1968 Camaro) at FM3 Performance Marketing's shop in Grant Park, IL we made the "short" drive to South Bend.

When we got to South Bend we made a brief stop at Tire Rack headquarters where we met up with Robert McGaffin - one of North America's best automotive photographers.  Robert was kind enough to snap a couple of pictures of the OneLapCamaro and the Vintage American Team!

With the bodywork done and some testing under our belts the OneLapCamaro took a quick side trip to Car West Elite in Fremont, CA for some final preparation

before heading to their sister shop Elite Auto Films for a new vinyl wrap

The OneLapCamaro has a New Look!

Over the past eight months the OneLapCamaro Team, with the help of Best of Show Coachworks in Escondido, CA has been tweaking OLC by improving the front aerodynamics and making room for bigger front tires with an optimized track width.  The end results are awesome and we can't wait to get the car wrapped and ready for the 2013 Tire Rack One Lap of America.  We'll fill in the blanks on some of the work that went in to the project in the future but for now...
